What is EQM?

QM (Emirates Quality Mark) voluntary certification, was awarded the product qualified logo, get this flag can significantly improve product competitiveness, expand enterprise influence, is one of the large enterprises to enter the united Arab Emirates market of choice for certification. This product can prove compliance with relevant UAE national standards, regional and/or international standards, and is produced by an organization that implements an effective quality management system to ensure continuous compliance. EQM, with ECAS, belonging to MOIAT sector, by MOIAT responsible for setting standards and certification scheme. Certification program is relatively complex, time is relatively long. It is more suitable for enterprises that export in large quantities to the United Arab Emirates every year.

Building materials, plumbing equipment, auto parts such as the electronic product

Basic information

1.It simultaneously meets the standards of the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf Standards (GSO), and is subject to surprise factory inspections

2.Certificate holder: local company

3.Certificate validity: 3 years, but it is subject to annual supervision and review

4.Local testing: Testing is required in a locally recognized laboratory

Label requirement

Color：The Mark shall have the same colour as provided by MOIAT and shall be printed on the product which is in contrast with the Mark for propervisibility/readability. The colour of the mark shall be non-removable or indelible. Single colour can be allowed for secondary packaging but limited to Black (with White background) White Colour (with Black background) only

Size：The size of the logo shall as a main rule in ratio of 1:1 (length x breadth) 

In any case of size variations (decreasing or increasing), the size must always follow and respect the proportions of the logo

1. A valid trade/industrial license from the United Arab Emirates or a certificate from any national manufacturing unit

2. Declaration of Conformity

3. The product test report complies with the requirements of the UAE plan and relevant product standards

4. The Quality Management system (QMS) manual of the factory

5. Factory site inspection report
