About GCC

GCC certification,Gulf Cooperation Council,is a mandatory certification for specific products exported to the seven member states of the Gulf region (Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Yemen), such as toys and low-voltage electrical equipment.

This certification aims to ensure that products entering the markets of these countries comply with relevant safety and quality standards and promote economic integration in the Gulf region

Scope

Low-voltage electrical equipment (LVE)

Children's toys (referring to items or products designed or made for children under the age of 14 to play with)

Basic Information

Certificate validity: 3 years

Single or series：Certificates can be of series models

Maintenance：The QR code needs to be re-registered every year. If the customer opts for a validity period of 3 years, an application can be submitted during the initial registration

Label requirement

As a mandatory requirement (since January 1, 2017), the product must be labeled with the gulf conformity, with recognition of the notified body number and the qr code after the tag to get the certificate, automatically generated by the registration system to download.

Size:GCTS for Certificates shall be downloaded from GSO Tracking System and placed on the first page of the relevant Certificate with a minimum width of 4 cm and a minimum height of 2.2 cm. it can change but proportions shall 

be maintained.
